All Grown Up Camp

camp basics

Girls Rock Camp: All Grown Up is a fundraiser in support of our youth camps. If you’re a grown-up who’s always wanted to learn an instrument and be in a band, this is the weekend for you!

Participants will receive lessons in drums, guitar, bass, or keys, form a band, write a song, and perform for their fans! We strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for campers to be able to try something new. Past campers have said that camp was a non-judgemental environment that made them feel confident, empowered, supported and inspired.

Camp also includes workshops designed to get you thinking about women and feminism in music, songwriting, performing, and mealtime performances by rad folks in Saskatoon’s music scene to entertain and inspire you!

Details AND DATES

We do not have programming planned for 2023.

Stay tuned for potential future opportunities!

Important Info

How much does it cost to register?

$275/participant. We’d love for you to contribute to our fundraising goal, but if finances are a barrier to participate, we still want you to apply and we’ll work with you to reduce the barriers to your participation. This could include payment options (eg. paying in multiple instalments), a sliding scale price, or sponsorship.

If you’d like to participate but the registration fees will present a barrier for you, please let us know when you register.

Do campers need to be present for the whole camp?

Yes. Participation in the full weekend is essential, so please keep your schedule clear!

Do campers need to have any previous musical experience?

No previous musical experience is required to participate. In fact, this camp is for beginners – all campers will be a beginner on the instrument they learn to play that weekend. One goal of camp is to give access to learning an instrument and forming a band to those who haven’t had that chance before.

What about instruments?

All instruments and supplies will be provided.
